Jonathan Linkous, chief executive officer of the American Telemedicine Association and iCons in Medicine Member, recently discussed the use of telemedicine technologies. Telemedicine can be used either to connect patient to physician, or to provide patients with information and for self-monitoring, according to Mr. Linkous. Help for Haiti

Health professionals who wish to register to provide volunteer support for relief efforts in Haiti on the ground, or to offer teleconsultation support to disaster-relief workers there, may register to do so on this site by selecting the appropriate link below.
